"The Light At The End Of The Tunnel"
MY YOUTUBE JOURNEY

When COVID hit, I wanted to find a way to earn more doing something I loved. A friend encouraged me to try YouTube, saying I had the personality for it. At first, I was too nervous to show my face, so I started with voiceover videos explaining excel tools for personal finance.
(Lesson #1: Starting Something New Will Be Uncomfortable... But You Have To Start!)
I launched my first channel as "Danny Sully", diving into investing and personal finance with a goal of helping others. Looking back, the content wasn't top-notch, it definitely needed improvement, but the main reason it didn't take off was that I gave up to soon...
(Lesson #2: Success Takes Time, Consistent Effort, And Above All... Patience)

Impatiently, I launched "Danny's Stock Talk" to discuss stocks and crypto, focusing on the best investment options. Quickly, I learned that pump-and-dump strategies don't succeed often. While I gained subscribers rapidly, I was not helping others grow the way I felt was best... so I changed.
(Lesson #3: Experience Is Invaluable... Don't Look For Quick Results!)
Because of that, I moved on to change my name to "Danny's Money Talk", where the motto I learned and resembled was investing into index funds and teaching other personal financial topics I learned throughout my experience. This was very similar to the first channel I started, but I was more experienced from the failures.
(Lesson #4: Keep Learning And Stick To What You Believe In)

As I progressed, I stuck to the principles of consistent effort and slowly I gained subscribers. More importantly, I began to see a positive impact my content had on people.
(Lesson #5: I Found That Serving Others Is Beyond Rewarding!)
While I was seeing some progress, I noticed that my content needed a boost. I upgraded my equipment and focused on ensuring that each new video was informative and easy to follow.
(Lesson #6: Put In More Effort To Make Something Worth Watching)

After switching to a new content style, my Fidelity-related videos started performing exceptionally well. Seeing this, I decided to stick with what was working, especially since I had built an audience interested in Fidelity, and many of these videos had long-term relevance.
(Lesson #7: Trial & Error: Once Something Works, Keep Doing It)

Months after continuously working on high quality videos, my Fidelity Index Funds For Beginners video was pushed by the algorithm that allowed me to go from pennies a day to close to $10 a day.
(Lesson #8: Consistent Hard Work Leads To Opportunities)
What did I do? The exact same thing on repeat: More high quality content that aims to positively impact others...
(Lesson #9: The More Reps, The Better You'll Get)

Making content online is extremely competitive. No matter what industry you dive into, it will require a lot of time and energy to grow, and even with that, you are still never guaranteed for success. A key principal I've noticed for my personal growth is to always analyze your position and the direction you are taking. If things don't progress after a prolonged period of effort, maybe you are in the wrong industry? If things do process, what are things you can improve on?
(Lesson #10: Never Quit... Everything Is Up To YOU)

Please understand the only reason I am showing my growth is for credibility. We live in a world with a lot of fake stuff.

End of the day, I want what is best for your financial future.

I wish you all the best on your journey of growth.

Danny Sully
